Terms and Policies

TERMS, POLICIES & WAIVERS (READ CAREFULLY)

1) RELEASE OF LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I understand baseball and related training involve inherent risks, including impacts from balls/bats, collisions, slips/falls, heat illness, and equipment failure. To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, I release and agree to hold harmlessTitans Baseball / TexElite Training, its owners, coaches, staff, volunteers, and affiliates from claims arising out of ordinary negligence connected to tryouts, practices, games, or events. This release does not cover intentional misconduct or unlawful acts. I voluntarily assume all risks for my child’s participation.

2) MEDICAL DISCLOSURE & CONSENT
My child is fit to participate, and I’ve disclosed relevant conditions/allergies. If I cannot be reached, I authorize emergency medical care and accept responsibility for related costs.

3) PHOTO/VIDEO
I consent to photo/video capture during activities. Media may be used for internal evaluation and program marketing. (To opt out of marketing use, email us; internal evaluation use remains permitted.)

4) PARENT/SPECTATOR CONDUCT
I will support a positive environment: no sideline coaching, harassment, or confrontations. Violations may result in removal without refund.

5) EVALUATION & PLACEMENT
Tryouts assess athleticism, skills, coachability, and effort. Placement is at staff discretion and may consider roster balance, positions, and team needs. Metrics/video may be recorded for internal review.

6) OFFERS, DEADLINES & WAITLIST
Offer windows are typically 48 hours unless otherwise stated. A roster spot is not guaranteed until acceptance and completion of required registration steps. If teams fill, qualified players may be waitlisted.

7) FEES & REFUNDS
Any posted tryout fee is non-refundable. Upon accepting a roster spot, deposits/dues become non-refundable (except where law requires otherwise) because rosters and budgets are set based on commitments. Payment default may result in suspension and collections per organization terms.

8) DUAL PARTICIPATION & SCHEDULING
I will disclose other teams/activities that may create conflicts. Multi-sport participation is supported with communication.

9) COMMUNICATIONS & DATA
I consent to receive email/SMS about tryouts, offers, schedules, and billing. Information is used for operations and not sold.

10) GOVERNING LAW, VENUE & SEVERABILITY
These terms are governed by Texas law, with venue in Williamson/Travis County courts. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder still applies.

PARENT/GUARDIAN ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By checking the box, I am the parent/legal guardian, I have read and understand all of the above Terms, Policies & Waivers, including the RELEASE OF LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK (INCLUDING ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE), and I agree on behalf of myself and my minor child. I am signing voluntarily.

Q: Can I get a refund if my player isn’t offered a spot?
A: The tryout fee is non-refundable; it covers staffing, fields, tryout software and evaluation time.

Q: My player is injured—what now?
A: Email us before the session. We’ll move you to a later date or accept a coach-guided video.

Q: How long do I have to accept?
A: 48 hours from the time the offer is sent unless otherwise stated.

Q: Will metrics be shared?
A: Upon request, we can share metrics and notes after staff review.
